How Cubefit works
Cubefit packs one carton SKU onto a pallet. It tries flat orientations (and free rotate if you allow it), builds full layers, then stacks them under your max height and weight. Deck height and empty-pallet weight are included so the numbers match warehouse practice.
Worked example (Euro pallet)
A 400×300×200 mm carton on a Euro pallet (1200×800, deck 144 mm) with max height 1800 mm and 12 pieces per carton typically fits 8 cartons per layer and 8 layers: 64 cartons and 768 pieces, about 1744 mm total height including the deck.
Pallet presets included
Euro / EPAL 1200×800, UK / industrial 1200×1000, GMA 48×40 in, CHEP EUR, ISO 1200×1000, and other common sizes with deck height and tare. Pick a preset or enter a custom pallet. (Euro (EPAL 1 / EUR 1) 1200×800, UK 1200×1000, EPAL 2 (EUR 2) 1200×1000, EPAL 3 (EUR 3) 1000×1200, EPAL 6 half 800×600, CHEP EUR 1200×800, GMA 48×40 (ISO NA) 1219×1016, ISO AU 1165×1165)
- How do you calculate boxes per pallet?
- We find how many cartons fit in one layer on the pallet footprint (with your overhang tolerance), then how many full layers fit under the max height after the deck. Weight capacity can stop the stack earlier if you enter carton and max load weight.
- What is TI × HI?
- TI is cartons per layer (tie). HI is the number of layers high. Cubefit shows both as boxes per layer and layer count, plus total cartons and pieces.
- Which pallets are supported?
- Euro/EPAL, UK/industrial, GMA (48×40), CHEP, ISO 1200×1000, half pallets and custom sizes. Deck height and empty weight come from the preset so height and weight totals stay realistic.
- Can I rotate cartons?
- Yes. Turn on free rotation in Advanced options to try orientations where the top face is not fixed. Mixed-yaw patterns are used when they pack denser.
- Is Cubefit free?
- Yes. Enter your own carton sizes with no signup. Embed, API and MCP access are available on request.
- Does it work without WebGL?
- Yes. If 3D is blocked, Cubefit shows a simplified isometric stack so you still see the layout.
